rhythm shot
Also: rhythm shooting · stick shot
A jump shot taken with the right stick: pull down to start, push up in rhythm with the animation.
A jump shot performed with the right stick instead of the shoot button. You pull the stick down to start the jumper, then push it back up in rhythm with the animation.
NBA 2K27 grades the tempo of that stick movement as part of the timing, so how fast the stick comes up matters, not only when.
